York University Yusa Collective Agreement

The meeting discussed the principles of the YuPG (York University All Union Pension Group), which guarantees the financial accessibility of the pension plan and offers demographic equity, spousal benefits and old age pension. YUSAPUY has two negotiating committees for group 1 and group 2 members. In Block 1 in York, this process was implemented many years ago and is maintained as part of our collective agreement and our joint employment assessment commissions. The Labour Evaluation Committee is appointed by the YUSAPUY Board of Directors to participate in the work evaluation process, including rating positions within the Joint Labour Assessment Committees, to ensure that the employment evaluation process is fair to YUSAPUY members. YUSAPUY and YorkU offer training to ensure that committee members are able to apply evaluation criteria, as outlined in the training manual for the joint evaluation of York/YusApuY professions and in accordance with YUSAPUY`s collective agreements…. On July 1, 2005, the Canadian government launched its program to provide Canadians with a non-refundable tax credit to cover public transportation costs. The grievance committee is made up of four stewards. The tasks of this committee include assessing the merits of complaints and communicating recommendations to the YUSAPUY Executive Committee regarding related actions.
